precious weekends...

went ikea, tampines to shop w mum, bro, lanyi and wf for bro's stuff. he wanted an armchair (which he bought) and curtains (which he didn't get in the end). he also bought a stainless steel dustbin. haha! for me, i bought smaller items, that is, a clock (for either hanging or on the table) and those paper boxes to contain all my notes since erm, poly. =)

then lanyi suggested we go for lok lok in kallang. interesting! pieces of meat, cuttlefish, 'hums' all poked thru satay sticks and all we needed to do was to dip the food into the soup. no more having to dig out ur food when it fell out of the holey ladle. no more hassle! hehe. but we waited bout 1/2 an hr for it and it wasn't very filling. heh. so mum bought 6 onde-ondes and peanut ice kachang, which was quite delicious! after that, wf drove us back. =)


yesterday, i woke up at 11 n wf came to pick me up around 1:20pm. we went for brunch at clementi b4 we headed to my mum's office to pick up foodstuff for the seventh month. then drove everything back to my house n drove mum to the salon cos she wanted to dye her hair. =) then he drove back home to pick his mum up and we went taka, with the intention of taking the goodie bag from amore. but, we managed to only collect the shirt and number tag yesterday, and the goodie bag can only be redeemed next week. =( so i spent the aftn sitting in the car, man! was i bored. grrr! we kind of walked around the branded boutiques in taka n we headed to amk for dessert b4 going back to his house. wf changed to his 'clubbing attire' n we went to taka again intending to pick up his coat, but in the end, we didn't get the coat that was reserved. he bought another one which was nicer, more fitting and cheaper! i really thought that coat was nice. length just right, it fits him ya u know. heh.

then it was the start of the night at MOS. =) but goodness, xc drank a tad too much that he puked n puked the whole night. even on the way when wf sent him home, he was still throwing up. eww! gawd.. =) haha. poor him. must be feeling very awful. wf n xc's bro had to lift him home.

after sending him home, we went home, exhausted.


P.S. i learnt to appreciate and treasure weekends recently since i started working during weekends. it's especially precious!! =)

i love everyone around me. and i'm very thankful and appreciative of him. ilu! =)

long nights

wow! i've nv been so bz in my life b4. 1st aug was the start of another long working hours, long nights. all the way till 15 aug for coming up w a proposal and presentation. finally i could take another breather again b4 i embark on my project again. i was given the day off last fri, and we were being treated to crystal jade last thur. yum! visited claudia's baby last thu too.

went out with angie last fri, she brought me to her spa place. a very nice place! hehe. i like. =) good outing, we went to some central hk cafe in taka for lunch, n the carrot cake was very good! =D anyway, after that, wf came to meet us n we left for fireworks! thanks to qiuling that we managed to catch a spectacular array of fireworks. truly magnificent! it's a good thing to be able to arrive 20 minutes prior to the display of fireworks n still getting a seat. i think it's really good to allocate seat numbers. =) no more waiting from 7:30pm just to secure a 'good view' seat, erm, well, standing place i should say. hee. a pity we only had 2 tix.

10th aug- i got to know my adjusted pay as we all had an adjustment in pay. =D

18th aug- 19th aug - stay at PP, sweet! =) went to CTC and SA tours exhibition.

back to work on mon on a regular working hours. =) feels so good to be able to knock off at 6pm. haha! n on wed, i reached home at 9, managed to catch a hk serial at 9pm, ch 55. haha. i've lost touch on tv programmes. wonder if that's a good or bad thing. n now, today is friday, the end of the week. but it's the start of my proj once again.

i think it's the start of another nightmare, but i hope otherwise, n it will be! *i like to live in a world full of self-denial* LOL well, who likes working late nights right??? HEE

consecutive weekends burnt

i've been spending my weekends at work, this includes today and im going back tmr. it's been really tiring working consecutively. i feel like my body needs a break badly. i'm finally sick today. actually i felt very heaty yesterday, and i couldn't sleep well last nite cos of my bad sore throat. the pain woke me up everytime i swallow my saliva. OUCH!

tue was the worst. went to work at 830-ish and i went back at 6am on the morn of 8th aug and i had to go back to NUS UCC at around 10. in the end, i woke up at 0930 and cabbed there. almost every nite, i leave work at around 2-3am. after all these, i'm really going to take a breather and relax somewhere.

i'm going to bed now, re-energised for tmr, i hope.
