feeling patriotic frm miles away.. way to go singapore!

jus today in the library, my proj mate was telling me bout the commonwealth games.. wow! she said singapore is ahead of kenya by just 1 gold medal. if she's not mistaken, singapore had 7 golds n kenya 6? (sum1 correct me if im wrong..) den i just saw qianling's blog.. a gust of patriotism struck me.. way to go singapore's team! *whistles* i watched the commonwealth games 2 days ago.. i tink.. it was the sprinting one.. singapore was not involved, watched the GBR's team tho. hee.. but anyway.. i'll make sure i catch a singapore's one! hey.. tho im all the way here.. i still support my own country!! feel the patriotism in me..

a few months back, there was the winter olympics.. nice man! i love the skiing n figure skating.. love the thrill in skiing n the gracefulness in skating.. i was looking out for the GBR's team.. haha.. guess it's cos of a simple reason. im here!

aniway, this is 1 simple entry to bring out 1 simple thing. i noe where i belong. singapore. =)

end of term party n last day of term!

i'll blog 2 events in one entry.. lets tok about now.. i jus finished my test n it's the last day of the term b4 the 1 mth easter hols! ok.. something to be happy but at the same time to fret about. everything is due after easter~!! how scary does that sound? freaking scary!! oh well, being a procrastinator myself, it scares me to bits, obviously. =P the thought of things piling n piling irks me.. eewww
now to the end term party! was held 2 days ago.. 22mar 2006 at tiger tiger (leeds)! took some pics.. (as u can c above) well, it was not a veri pleasant nite for me.. my feet hurt like crazee n i realli mean crazee! the bone near my big toes n the heels.. (u noe that folded skin part above ur heels? girls shud noe where) so dat makes up to be 4 locations of my feet! man.. m i glad im not an octopus! (i noe octopus does not wear shoes.. duhh.. jus trying to be farnie =P)
haha! as u can c.. i braved the cold! yay! *applause* short skirt n a little short sleeved coatie!i may be petite to some but mighty to all! muahaha!
hey.. im proud to say dat i did not drink.. ok.. jus a teeny weeny bit.. a few drops of wine.. yes.. dat BIT. (ahem! c dis hon! =P) but i tink the shock of the nite came after i was done with my duty. well, cos it was organised by the leeds oriental quintuplet (BBCSoc, ChiSoc, HKSoc, MASSOC, SINGSOC), so we had to take turns selling tix n collecting money for those who bought it 'on-the-door'. it was onli 1/2 hr n probably another 20 mins for collecting money n wow! my frens got so high! for once, i was one of the sober few.. *hehehe* im proud of dat.. i wud like to defend myself on this pt.. im not alwaes drunk k! =P jitty jit jit got so drunk he din noe wat happened.. ken too.. GUYS.. tsk tks..aniway, we made profits! whoopee! so.. yeah.. i'll hopefully be able to blog more dis month! till then! =)

stuck stuck stuck!

was supposed to blog after loading the photos last wk.. but was too lazy.. was tinking of leaving to blog during the wkends.. gawd.. nv did i expect to hv some server prob at mn on fri (technically, sat morn).. n since it's a 5-day wk over here, we were left 'internetless' over the wkends.. felt like i lost connection wif the world tho it's juz 2 short days.. haha. oh aniway, it snowed quite heavily on fri.. woo! nice view! white flakes falling frm the sky.. esp when it falls to the ground n on the roof of houses, buildings.. ya.. so when i stepped out of the campus, everywhere was covered with white flakes.. it's quite scenic! but den agn.. it's not realli DAT wonderful.. coz it's slippery.. esp when it's icy on the ground.. i took each step cautiously, not wanting to slip n fall.. avoiding slopes.. ( i can't even keep my balance on flats) n i was planning to go back home (after my proj meeting) n put my stuff before attending my lecture.. but the falling of the beautiful white flakes ruined my plan.. was stuck in the uni for hrs.. sigh.. (piggy L said it's too dangerous to go back coz cars mite not be able to c me.. reason? im too small... ?!?!?! =P) aniway, we were quite surprised dat it snowed coz the weather was nice n warm the previous wks.. n we tot spring was near.... ya.. u geddit..

ok.. i had a different saturday. being internetless, i decided dat i cud bring my laptop to EBL( edward boyle library) so i cud surf the net. piggy L n i found dat using skype in the uni is much clearer n more efficient! haha.. so happie!! aniway, we chatted for an hr+ , den he had to run an errand n since i had onli a bowl of cereals (cookie crisp!) i was hungry.. so we decided dat i shud go back home n eat MORE n he go do his stuff.. so dat was the end of our nice lil chat on skype! =sobs= i went down town wif patrick to get a new phone after eating.. was deciding between SE 800 n N70.. after seeking opinion frm piggy L n much contemplation , i got N70. (there was some gekness in between cos i wanted SE800 but piggy L preferred N to SE, so i trusted him n got N.. after getting N70 [giving up the SE reluctantly] he told me a different thing altog! ok.. it sounds confusing but the pt is for him to noe.. n for me to rem =P) but i hv to admit.. i like N70 more everyday when i look at it.. =hehehe= yay! finalli got a new phone! (m using 2 N8310 now by the way..) after dat, we (pat n i) went borders.. ordered some coffee n blueberry cheesecake(delicious!) n read a book. (m still reading it as a bedtime story.. Angels n Demons by Dan Brown) science vs religion? im not gonna make any arguments or comments bout it.. ( prob after reading the whole bk? teeheehee)

dat sat felt like a sunday.. so i sort of gained a day.. haha. (like the sunday was given to me for free!) i dunno y.. cos we usually spend our saturdays at home toking to frenz n families back home.. n to me.. it felt even more like a sunday coz piggy L had to book-in dat day.. hmm.. sunday afternoon was spent doing groceries shopping.. 2 hrs.. n we were back.. so had a quiet sunday.. imagine! no piggy L to chat with, n to make it worse.. no internet! gawd.. aniway, a little peacefulness n being alone once in a while is enjoyable.. ( i hope i dun become a loner! i certainly do not wan to develop an eccentric character.. =P)

ok.. now to the title of dis blog entry.. stuck! wif my beloved design proj. i hv totally no idea wat to do n read.. im reading like a lil of everything n i realised i hv so many doubts, questions in my brain.. the difficulties in design seems to evade me.. now now i've learnt.. i juz noe i hv to read, read n read.. (NOTE: it is definitely not enjoyable having to read engineering books! it's dry n disgusting.. imagine seeing all the equations that look totally strange, foreign n profound!! too intellectual for me.. it's not sumting u'll understand even after reading them 10Xs.) now u get wat i mean ya? gotta read tonite agn.. sigh! i hope i can catch a lil sumting! i noe i hv to start somewhere, some time..

im feeling abit nauseous now.. tink i've been looking at the laptop for too long. go catch some slp b4 dinner.. man!! can't wait to get out of student's life. =P
