on my bdae...
firstly, i wud like to thank everyone who wished me happy birthday.. i realli realli appreciate it.. i noe it sounds cliche.. but u pple realli made me feel special.. =) oh well.. pple started wishing me when it's still the 24th here.. (haha) i feel good. my bdae sort of lasted for 1 1/2 days! ha.. ok.. enuff.. hmm. if i were to describe dis day.. i wud sae it's a peaceful, quiet n nice day. there's a little sweetness in the peacefulness. hmm.. do u get wat im trying to sae? haha. being remembered n all.. tho im so far away..
oh ya.. qiuling! i saw ur bdae wishes to me on msn.. but i was at lecture.. so i cudn't reply.. n u weren't online the whole of today.. (i din catch u online) anyway, i'd like to wish u a veri happy bdae too! ha.. yay! we can celebrate our bdaes tog next yr alrdy huh? ;P
n ya.. i received a call at 6 mins past 12 (UK's time).. tada! ya.. it's mr piggy lee. ha.. (isn't dat a nice name? =P)
weitian!! thks for the wad dat u did for me today (she posted a blog n her entry todae is to wish me a happy bdae.. wif both our pics in it! so totful of her!) man! m i touched. i called home.. mum n bro wished me too.. speaking of which, my dad din wish me huh.. nottie papa.. ;P
pris.. it's realli sweet of u to rem my bdae n the tot of buying sumting for me realli moved me.. urghh! gonna cry alrdy.. *sniffs*
sumtimes it may be juz a little thing u do, but it means so much to another person.

i dun realli hv the bdae mood dis yr.. i dunno y. maybe coz of the things dat happened recently.. maybe coz im not in singapore? wadeva the reason is, u noe wad? im looking forward more to my next bdae.. =) (hmm.. shudn't i not look forward to my next bdae coz i'll be another yr older? but im still looking forward to it somehow..)

ok.. all in all, i realli wanna thank pple who rem me.. dat i occupied one little corner of the much contained mind.. haha.. pple who love me.. i love u guys too! =)

those wif serene, steph, shiau hui, xin loo (pris was there too) on ejie's 21st tog wif marina n meiling at SAFRA (mt faber) last dec haha. farnie thing is i dun hv pic wif the bdae girl. aniway, that was the 1st time i attended pple of my age's 21st. realli! believe it or not. felt happy.. =)

hmm. was chatting with janice n pris on msn today. miss the SC days so much.. xl n pris ->had alot of funnie (the laff till we drop kind) encounters n stuff. rem xl n her 'maigazine' n pris wif her 'brate' hahaha.. oh well.. those were the days. it's been 6 yrs since we graduated.. time flies.. time doesn't wait!

woo! *applause* ya.. guessed we stopped singing since sec sch huh.. we started 'mouthing' the words.. haha. but still, this is a song that we 'sang' for 10yrs. from some pple singing it as "till the world we die" (hahaha! cudn't stop laffing when i heard dat) to "till the work be done." the fun, laughter, peace n joy we shared, the fact dat we grew up tog (frm wearing bloomers to wearing shorts that has that white layer of cloth inside, n frm wearing the white sleeveless coloured team PE t-shirt to the normal white t-shirt wif the green scgs word behind), from emerald hill to dunearn rd (does anyone rem the song?)

(not bad eh? still rem some parts.. haha), the 10 good yrs in sc is sumting that i wud not forget.. i rem how we practised for competitions, sc became our 2nd home, (esp the rc rm! =P) what we've experienced in sc is unforgettable. the ephemeral joys of childhood. so true isn't it? happiness dat u experienced during childhood is shortlived. haha. ok, i shall stop being so nostalgic. those r juz phases of life we hv been thru..
oh.. does anyone realise aniting bout the photos?
almost all of us r the true blue sc girls~! =P (10 yrs spent in a nunnery?) hahaha.
alrite, i'll try to blog soon. for now, back to reality. im stuck wif my design proj.. help! i oso hv an essay due next wed.. sigh.. y do engg students hv to write essays? n the title is "My vision of biotechnology: for the near future and in the long term" tell me about it. sux. aniway, 1 last sem to go! urghh.. =P

the bdae boi n me..
happenings so far..
quite a bit happened.. celebrated cny here. well, my last cny dat im gonna miss! =P i had sort of 2 reunion dinners. one is wif SingSoc on 27Jan at Red Chilli n our own steamboat on 29Jan. ya. quite fun, tho not as fun as singapore! called my mum on cny's eve n mr P lee on 28th. i cud realli feel the cny 'air'! sounded realli happening, noisy (in a gd way). when i put down the phone, silence fell on me. i realised im alone.. ha. dats the way life is when u're abroad. lots n lots of time alone. well, i feel comforted that im going back soon. n it's for good! ya.. i repeat. for good! dats my motivation. we went to Revolution n Creation after the SingSoc's dinner. Patrick's bdae was on the 2nd dis mth. had steamboat agn. ha. tomyum soup base! realli good.. =) n we had some drinks after dat. hmm. ya. i shudn't elaborate much on dat. *hehe* but i had quite a fun time.
i tink we all learn things thru experience.. experiences change the path u take in life.. for the better or for the worst.. for some, drastically.. guess it's one of those self-reflection times?
many a times, we ask pple to understand us. im guilty of dat. "y dun pple understand me?"
sumtimes, i tink we shud learn to "put on pple's shoes n learn to walk around in them" it's a golden phrase to me, that is most of the time forgotten by pple. we tend to neglect the feelings of pple ard us, well, dats not unusual. wads ur virew to be in a relationship? now, dis sets me tinking. when u're together wif ur sum1, he/she muz be ur special sum1. promises.. commitment. ya. commitment. "actions speaks louder den words" can be used on dis word. dun u tink so? i tink it's so true.
ok, all in all, i hope dat pple who has their sum1 be happy wif each other n to those who havent found ur sum1, to find them soon! =)
