cny prep is fun!!

many things happened recently. one of which is switching job. i'll reveal more since everything is settled. wed will be my last day at work, n i'll be starting on my new job on the 21st. right after chinese new year. hopefully, i didn't make the wrong choice. pple have been encouraging and remarks bout my new job were good n this makes me optimistic. i certainly hope that this would be a promising one. haha. who wouldn't.

i forgot one update the other time n i only remembered after clicking the ''publish' button. haha! went to weitian's house last sunday. play mahjong lo!! haha. what else to do when 4 pple are together. n i got bullied by them. hahaha. really. i thought it would be a normal mahjong game. the most basic one lo. haha. but it turned out to be otherwise. our good friend, ql suggested some ''advanced level'' one. being an amateur, i took great pains to memorise the ways to ''hu''. but weitian's mum was so nice.. not only did she help me, she asked them why i had to play such a difficult game when im only a beginner. hahaha! anyway, we played n finally, i still lost the game. no beginner luck leh. haha. oh. did i mention that we ate many many packets of cuttlefish while playing. shiok eh! but poor weitian couldn't eat cos she was sick. =(

is it true that the more u try to avoid a person, there will be more chances of meeting that person? hmm..

oh well, for now, i've got nothing much to do at work. maybe cos i'll be leaving soon, that pple don't give me work anymore? haha.

im still quite excited bout this coming chinese new year!! i want to make it enjoyable! muaahaha! i want to enjoy what i didn't get to do the past 2 years. i contributed quite a bit this cny preparation period. hahaha. i went to my aunt's place to make pineapple tarts. n i did my part by using the mould to shape the tarts, n putting it on the trays. then, i took a break by playing with my little cousin, gx. he's a real smart guy. bright in fact!! then i continued, but this time, i had a bigger role to play. i glazed the tarts with egg. hahahaa! big contribution eh? n my aunt helped by shaping the pineapple n putting it nicely on the tart. after shaping with mould, glazing with egg n putting the pineapple in place, TADA! nice little tarts are created! so yummy. i love pineapple tarts. but i prefer the pastry to the pineapple. hahaha!

alrite, i've got quite a bit of errands to run this week, medical check-up, collecting my lappie n helping more with the prep of cny goodies. hmm. despite having to run around alot, im enjoying myself in the busi-ness of life.

no-work day!

it's monday today, but it's not a very blue monday cos i did not go for work. took leave. went for macdonald's breakfast in the morn with wf at the new macs cafe at the park. happy! cos he went to collect my registered letter for me at the post office. so good. =) then, i accompanied him to boon lay where i thought i could walk around while waiting for mq's reply. but i found it too boring, so i headed straight to town. went to wendy's then to marina sq to meet mq. while waiting for her, i shopped around myself n i got myself the belt i'd been thinking for 2 weeks. hehe. got it at 90bucks with 10cts change. hmm. n finally got myself a red shirt for cny. finally, my cny's shopping is nearly done.

then we went to shihlin for lunch. i love the mee sua. haha.. big big oysters.. yum yum. i had 3 big oysters in my mee sua today. after lunch, we hung around in marina sq n suntec where mq bought alot. quite alot. oh oh.. we also got shirley's present at marina sq. to be revealed after this wkend. lol. haha. suspense.

yup yup. so all in all. today is a happy day!

oh. i'll be going down to sign my contract on wed. hmm. more to be revealed when everything's finalised. =) haha.

on another note, wf n i got ourselves roller blades on 31st jan (claimed to be the last day for the 1 for 1 promotion). paid 522 for 2 pairs. hmm. oh.. n his blades were apparently better cos it's the 90mm dia wheels. wow. haha. aesthetic appeal is definitely more important to me. lalala. but we're both happy with our blades. BUT, till now, we haven't used our blades!! can't wait!

i can't wait to go blading in my newly bought blades!!
