i did a meaningful task todae!
yesh mam! updating.. (to meiqian) err.. guess wat i did todae?? wash my bed sheet!! haha.. the last time i washed it was when i came back in jan.. ermm.. time now 0112. tired. ha! sum1 jus called.. reached thailand lo. oh well.. 2 wks w/o a bf in singapore..hmm.. now, wat diff does it make when u're overseas n ur bf is not in singapore? hmm.. *tinks hard* ok.. back to the bed sheet thing.. ya! i washed it! n im proud of it.. actualli, i had no choice.. my legs were itching when i was sleeping last nite.. c.. dat's how bad it is.. days w/o mommy. my mom used to ask how i'm gonna survive w/o her.. now c.. i hv to adapt those days w/o mommy. but i'll soon be back to the 'mommy-dependent' life again! i'm so looking forward to it!it's the listening to music, quiet, lonely nites again. after being here for some time, im getting used to it, n enjoying it in a way. i mus get back soon, if not i'll become a freak! eeks! don't wan!!
ok.. im sure pple by now can sense my weirdness.. tiredness is getting over me.. darn. time to sleep!
oh ya.. congrats mq!! yay! finished ur exams alrdy. can feel it.. but now it's the super bz period for me.. *sobs* hope i can get thru it fine n well. after exams, i'll wait for my mom n bro to come over n yay! good nite to myself. good morn to the other part of the world. n good evening to another part of the world. enuff crap, clarice. sleep tite. smile peeps! =)

to be understood or to be understanding?
before starting on the title, my internet had been down since fri, n since it's the easter, pple got to work onli todae.. sux doesn't it? uni opens tmr! so library time. dis sux too. ok.. now back to the topic. issit better to be understood or to be understanding? well, i tink dis is sumting much thought and talked about. r we realli appreciative of the things n pple around us? hmm.. i tink it's a virtue to be understanding but obviously, to be understood brings comfort from within. =P It's inevitable to fail to understand pple. many a time, we wud rather pple to understand, dun u agree? one analogy," y can't u understand me?" y dun we sae," im sorry, i dun understand u." wont we hv lesser quarrels dis way? im saying in the view of frens, families n everyone. but of cos, there's no deny when pple expect more frm their loved ones; family n frens. the closer u r to a person, the higher the expectations.

some updates
been wanting to update my blog since last wk.. but i was too tired to do so. the past week had been a bz one. got the car on friday, n we went to pick my laundry frm mel's hall, pick huiyi up at the train station, went to catch a movie at 12am (the hills have eyes), n we went ASDA to get food for our road trip! reached home onli bout 330am, boiled some eggs, den went to bed at bout 4.. n guess wat? DAY 1
we all woke up at 450am.. prepared sandwiches n after which we set off bout 6am to WALES! dozed off in the car.. realli tired.. reached Llandudno bout 8+ i tink.. it was so cold! my gawd.. we then went into the information centre to find out cool places to visit. we wanted mountains, to travel in the countryside.. so yay! we're on our way to the beautiful mountains in northern wales..
we went to visit some museum n some mine places in the morning.. by afternoon, all the sandwiches were gone.. happily drowned in the acids of our hungry stomachs.. hehe.. driving n visiting places till we were all exhausted.. so it's the looking-for-place-to-stay time! we went to several B&B n apparently all were either full or they were left wif onli a few vacancies.. went back n forth.. n finalli after nearly 2 hrs of frantic search, we decided to settle in Menai Bank Hotel, full english breakfast included! how nice! we had KFC for dinner dat nite.. i've nv enjoyed KFC as much in my life as dat nite.. cos i was starving.. ate like some barbaric animal.. went for bowling after dat..n we headed back to our B&B. finalli. but dat wasn't the end.. ahha. we had a drink at a minibar downstairs, a new flavour, cherry brandy.. the combination is realli nice.. mus rem dis.. den went to kpo abit at ken n serene playing english chess. ok.. i still dun geddit.. it's a realli profound game.. there's the knight.. king, queen, blah blah.. ya.. i wanna learn! steven n the rest were playing pool.. n finalli, i gave in to tiredness. went back to my rm, showered (after much contemplation) i dozed off.
DAY 2
rise n shine! it's morn! my alarm rang at 7.. but i woke up at 740.. haha.. no one woke up k! i was the 1st.. surprisingly. =P it's realli tough waking up in cold countries.. y mus i torture myself pulling out the nice n warm covers i'm in n out of the bed. i dread getting up when it's cold.. haha.. lazy me. =P
aniway, ate our full english breakfast.. burps! done. we're off to visit other places.. can't rem where we went.. (due to short term memory) i tink we went to visit some factory i tink.. saw how pple in the olden days produce gears n such.. after which, we went horse-riding! yay! im so proud of myself.. i noe how to ride a horse, n i wasn't afraid of it. ( thanks mum, she made me ride a horse in aussie when i was young). but even so, i was alone wif the horse.. so i had to steer n noe how to control it. we rode around farms.. it's realli cool! like.. wow.. but but.. my hands n jeans stinked.. it smelt like the horse's poo! ewwww.. yucks.. i learnt one things bout horses.. they eat, shit n urine on the move.. shit n shit.. n when they urine.. they can drown a rat! im serious.. it's DAT much.. i nearly fell off the horse laffing at other horses.. it was soo farnie! n u noe wat? patrick's horse was like half a horse in front of me.. we were waiting to get off the horse.. n his horse farted at my face! URGHH! ok.. actualli, i din noe it was farting.. till adelynn(my fren's gf) told me.. i was still puzzled by the smoke it produced.. n it was loud k! n cos the 'wind' was so strong dat the horse's tail flew up.. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.. to tink i was so stupid.. urghh.. it was realli but too bad it was a wet day.. raining n all.. sigh.. bad bad...
the guys den decided to go bowling again.. that's when the girls played wif a little toddler.. omg! he's soo adorable! so chubby.. n he has rosy cheeks.. man! i washed the sleeve of my jacket.. cos it was dirty.. n my hands! but i still smell horsey.. eeeekks..
we den head to the chinatown in manchester for a buffet n den back home..
it was so tiring.. i just slept after a shower.. haha.. ok.. adios..
mon.. brought huiyi to the city centre..
tue, met wif my proj mates n gym!
wed, city centre again.. n sent huiyi off to the train station..
thur, free day..
fri n sat. work at aintree.
sunday, toking to pple at home..
